There are many wonderful and strange tales that remain in the Tono region of Iwate Prefecture. Tono still has many dwellings that evoke the atmosphere of the tales, and invites you to the ancient past. This piece was composed as a second movement to ¡ÈTono¡É recorded in ¡ÈTHE MUSIC OF EARTH / III¡É. I composed this music, feeling this land to be greatly different from Hokkaido (where we live) where the history is still young and has a much lower humidity average.
